While the pasta cooks, halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the fresh mozzarella balls if they are not already pearl-sized. Gently tear or chop the fresh basil leaves.

In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella.
